#5 The Mentalist- CBS @10pm, Thursdays
My Take: This show is worth while watch for the quirkiness of Simon Bakers character along with the possible attraction "jane" has to his boss Senior Agent Teresa Lisbon and the fact who doesn't love a crime drama.
#4 Pretty Little Liars- ABC Family @8pm Mondays

About the show: Rosewood is a perfect little town. So quiet and pristine, you'd never guess it holds so many secrets. Some of the ugliest ones belong to the prettiest girls in town -- Aria, Spencer, Hanna and Emily, four estranged friends whose darkest secrets are about to unravel. One year ago, Alison, the Queen Bee of their group, disappeared and the girls swore they'd never tell what really happened that night. They thought their secrets would bond them together, but just the opposite is true. Then again, who's to say what the truth is in Rosewood. It seems everyone in town is lying about something. Now, as the mystery surrounding Alison's disappearance resurfaces, the girls begin getting messages from "A," saying – and threatening – things only Alison would know. But it couldn't be Alison. Could it? Whoever it is, they seem to know all the girls' secrets, and seem to be watching their every move. The girls are friends again, but will they be there for each other if their dark secrets come to light?
My Take: Who ever loved the books will definitely have fun with the TV series. For me its almost like living in high school or being a teen again. I can say I really feel for the characters and love the drama BUT and glad its not drama in my life. This show is like my Guilty Pleasure!!
#3 Castle- ABC @10pm Mondays
My Take: I am in love with Castle mostly because I think Nathan Filion who plays Castle is fabulous and kinda hunky (don't tell me husband). I also love crime dramas and well this is a fun one that took Law and Order SVUs place in my heart. I find that the attraction between Castle and Detective Beckett absolutely fabulous, plus I think I would read his books if they were real :)
#2 Whitney- NBC @8pm Wednesdays
About the show: "Whitney" is a hilarious look at modern day love, which centers around Whitney and Alex a happily unmarried couple. Together for three years, the duo is in no rush to get hitched, which seems to get a mixed response from their friends.
Whitney's close circle of girlfriends includes, on one side, Lily a romantic idealist who loves being in love, and on the other, Roxanne, a recent divorcee who is practical, cynical and dreading being single again. Lily and Roxanne's opposing points of view only exacerbate Whitney's own complicated outlook on relationships. Completing their close-knit group is Neal, a real modern day Renaissance man - sensitive and cool, who knows a little bit about everything and happens to be dating Lily. On the other end of the spectrum is Whitney and Alex's next-door neighbor Mark, a police officer and total bachelor, who claims to be the ultimate player, but likes to talk a good game. At the end of the day, Whitney and Alex realize that while their relationship might not be perfect on paper, they really do love each other - and that works for them.

My Take: This show has become such a fun one to watch. As soon as it was out of the gate it made me fall out of my chair laughing and it even has grown to be a show that my husband finds funny. Who had ever heard of Whitney Cummings before will hear her roar now that she has a hit show of her own and has a hit show on another station that she writes called "2 Broke Girls" which BTW is hilarious.
#1.5 Criminal Minds- CBS @9pm Wednesdays
:
:This is my sneaking in the back show that I have religiously followed since it started!
About this Show: revolves around an elite team of FBI profilers who analyze the country's most twisted criminal minds, anticipating their next moves before they strike again. The Behavioral Analysis Unit's most experienced agent is David Rossi, a founding member of the BAU who returns to help the team solve new cases. The team is lead by Special Agent Aaron Hotchner, a strong profiler who is able to gain people's trust and unlock their secrets. Other members include Emily Prentiss, a former Interpol agent and daughter of high-powered diplomats whose past life has caught up with her, leading to her presumed demise; Special Agent Derek Morgan, an expert on obsessional crimes; Special Agent Dr. Spencer Reid, a classically misunderstood genius whose social IQ is as low as his intellectual IQ is high; Jennifer "J.J." Jareau, the team's confident unit liaison who was called to a top Pentagon job but returns to the BAU under mysterious circumstances; and Penelope Garcia, a computer wizard who helps research the cases. Each member brings his or her own area of expertise to the table as they pinpoint predators' motivations and identify their emotional triggers in the attempt to stop them.
My Take: Who doesn't love SMART, HUNKIE MEN. Plus in another life I will only hope to be as smart as these guys, criminals are so intriguing, the psychoanalysis of each criminal is pretty impressive and rather interesting to me. But alas I am nowhere near being an FBI agent or a Behavioral Analyser I just work with the Youts!
#1 How I Met Your Mother- CBS @8pm Monday
: About the Show: a comedy about Ted and how he fell in love. It all started when Ted's best friend, Marshall, dropped the bombshell that he was going to propose to his longtime girlfriend, Lily, a kindergarten teacher. At that moment, Ted realized that he had better get a move on if he, too, hopes to find true love. Helping him in his quest is his friend Barney, a confirmed bachelor with endless, sometimes outrageous opinions, a penchant for suits and a foolproof way to meet women. When Ted meets Robin, he's sure it's love at first sight, but destiny has something else in store. The series is narrated through flashbacks from the future. My Take: My husband and I are both super fans of this show we watch it religiously and we even own all the seasons on DVD. When we didn't have cable we would watch each season in order over and over and over again. I love Neil Patrick Harris although right now in the series I could strangle him, but that's another day and time... I can't wait till the day we find out who the mother is and who Barney (NPH) marries as well. If you loved friends and you are in your mi 20s to 30s then this is the perfect show, you'll grow to love the key characters and laugh because you have probably done alot of what happens in this show!
I hope you can check out a show or two! I know that I will be a couch potato each time these shows are on!
ENJOY!!!
